As the Team Lead – Finance (MEA), you will be responsible for leading the accounting and finance function across our MEA entities (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and KSA), with potential expansion into APAC.

Accounting & Compliance

• Take full ownership of all accounting and tax matters for MEA entities, ensuring compliance with UAE Corporate Tax and FTA guidelines.
• Oversee VAT compliance and reporting across UAE and KSA.
• Manage KSA tax requirements, including Zakat, Withholding Tax, and e-invoicing mandates.
• Act as the primary liaison with external auditors, tax advisors, and local tax authorities (UAE & KSA).
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS.

Finance Operations & Controls

• Lead end-to-end finance operations including payroll, invoicing, collections, payments, expensing, treasury, and sales support.
• Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting; monitor performance vs. plan and highlight variances.
• Oversee monthly MIS reports and presentations for senior management, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis.
• Ensure accurate accounting for accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions.
• Strengthen internal controls, document processes, and ensure audit readiness.

Leadership & Strategy

• Lead and develop a small finance team (1–2 direct reports), fostering growth and efficiency.
• Support strategic initiatives, digitalization, and finance transformation projects.
• Respond to ad-hoc finance requests

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Tax.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or ACMA strongly preferred.
• 5–8 years of progressive finance/accounting/tax experience.
• Proven expertise in UAE tax compliance (Corporate Tax & VAT) and KSA tax laws (Zakat, WHT, e-invoicing).
• Experience working with tax authorities and auditors in UAE & KSA.
• Leadership experience with ability to manage a small team.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project).
• Hands-on ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
• Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Experience in the IT/SaaS industry is an advantage.
